Since this is from the Silver Age, I'm guessing Alanna is chasing down Hawkgirl to give her a last-minute addendum to her blue-ribbon cobbler recipe. And Hawkgirl's all "Bitch, please, like I tried to tell you, I don't cook shit. Either Hawkman takes me out to a fancy restaurant or we don't eat at all!"
Of course, I could be mistaken.
